Part 2 of our look at some of the new and cool gear in the shop.
Norco Ithaqua 2 – Norco is a new brand to the shop but as the most popular bike brand in Canada, you may have heard of them. The Ithaqua is their carbon fatbike for people who want the lightest, fastest, and fattest. Everything you’d expect from a quality high-end fatbike, plus a dropper post for getting rad in the pow.
Norco Bigfoot 4.3 – A sweet 24″ kids fatbike with quality components. Cutouts in the rim and a lightweight aluminum frame help keep the weight manageable. The neon green paint job will make sure your little riding buddy doesn’t get lost in a snowstorm.
Tubbs Wayfinder Snowshoes – The inclusion of a BOA System into the bindings of these snowshoes makes way to much sense. Gone are the days of frozen fingers fumbling with straps and buckles. These shoes can easily be put on while you wear your gloves, with just the twist of a dial. An awesome shoe for exploring winter.
Cannondale Synapse Carbon 105 – For 2018 Cannondale’s Endurance Road bike got a redesign. The first thing that jumped out to us was the increased tire clearance, 32c tires fit with ease. Additionally, Cannondale managed to shave 220g off the frame weight, don’t ask us how. The 54cm, 105 level bike, with WTB Exposure 32c tires comes in at a real world 20.5lbs.
2018 Giant Anthem 2 27.5 – This bike actually came out in late summer but we have barely been able to keep it in stock. It’s popularity is thanks to a solid SLX build, Fox Suspension, Giant (get it?) value, refined geometry, and a sick color scheme. A great trail bike for the rider looking for something you can shred here and during your weekend trips to Marquette.
Knog Oi Bicycle Bell – You may think you are too cool for a bell but what if it was a really, really cool bell? That’s where the Knog Oi comes in. With a unique streamlined design, this bell looks at home on any bar. Additionally, it comes in two sizes to fit standard and oversized handlebars.
