Hottest Bikes In The Shop

Working in a bike shop you see a lot of bikes, but each year it seems like there are a few models that stand out. Maybe it’s a cool paint scheme, a new wheel or tire size, a killer group of components, or outstanding value. Here are a few bikes we have in the store that our staff is digging this year.

Giant Revolt Advanced 2
Gravel is in right now and Giant has a new offering for 2019. For $2,100 the Revolt gives you a composite frame, hydraulic brakes, and Shimano 105 drivetrain. It comes set up tubeless with a solid wheelset and 40c tire (the frame has clearance for a 45c). We have the Deep Grey/ Metallic Red/ Silver version in the store and its understated looks appeal to us.

Salsa Journeyman 650B Apex
The pink alone makes this bike hot. It also has that do-anything, go-anywhere quality that we appreciate. Bikepacking, Touring, back-road exploring, gravel riding, commuting, and light-duty singletrack are all great applications for this bike.

Liv Pique 2
This is a whole lot of mountain bike for under $2k. Bomb proof Shimano Deore drivetrain and brakes. 120mm of RockShox air adjustable suspension front and rear. Throw in a dropper post for good measure and you have an incredibly versatile trail bike. Don’t forget that Metallic Blue to True Blue fade.

Terra Trike Rambler E.V.O. – Bosch
If you are going to ride a recumbent trike why not go all out and add e-assist? Apparently Terra Trike agreed. The Rambler E.V.O. is a blast to ride, and brings accessibility to new levels. The powerful Bosch motor keeps things moving smoothly even on steep uphills. This trike is proof that if you are going to do something, you might as well take it to 11.

cdale fsi

Cannondale F-SI Carbon 4
The F-SI is an awesome hardtail 29er that is perfect for our trails, but that is not why it’s on this list. The new Lefty Ocho is what makes this bike hot. Ocho is “The world’s first single crown, single-sided suspension fork” – Cannondale. Ocho is lighter, stiffer, and lower maintenance than previous Lefty Forks. We didn’t think a fork could get more minimalist than the previous Lefty, Cannondale’s engineers thought otherwise.

So that’s it. There are lots of other cool bikes here too, come in and check them out.
